OPTION 1: Contribute to the Capital Development Fund (CDF)

Donate $150,000 to the Capital Development Fund, which finances public sector projects to grow and diversify Anguilla’s economy. For your spouse and each dependent added to your application, an additional $50,000 is required. Additionally, there are application processing fees of $3,000 for a family of up to four, with $500 per applicant beyond that number. Due diligence fees are $7,500 per adult.

OPTION 2: Buy or Build an Approved Property

Invest in property valued at a minimum of US$750,000 for a family of four to qualify. Additional dependents require an extra US$100,000 each. The property must be held for at least five years. Application processing fees are US$3,000 for a family of up to four, with a US$500 fee per additional applicant. Due diligence fees are US$7,500 per adult.

OPTION 3: Establish Your Tax Residence in Anguilla

Make an annual lump sum tax payment of US$75,000 to Anguilla’s Inland Revenue Department for at least five consecutive years. The property for a family of four must be worth at least US$400,000 at the time of application. There is also a US$7,500 due diligence fee per adult and a processing fee of US$3,000 for a family of up to four, with an additional US$500 per extra applicant. As the principal applicant, you must commit to the annual tax payment for at least five years, spend at least 45 days a year on the island, and declare that you spend less than 183 days per calendar year in any other country, with your center of vital interest in Anguilla.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS AND BENEFITS

Applicants for the Anguilla Residency-by-Investment Programme must not represent a potential national security or reputational risk and should not be under criminal investigation. A clean bill of health is also required.

Anguilla is accessible via one-stop flights from North America, Europe, and Latin America, primarily through major gateways such as the United States mainland, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, and Antigua. The HVR Programme is designed for highly successful investors and entrepreneurs who live internationally and are willing to relinquish tax residency in their home countries.

By residing on the island for at least 270 days a year over five years, you can apply for a British Overseas Territories passport. Additionally, after 19 years of residency in Anguilla, you become eligible for a British passport.
