Option 1: Malta Exceptional Investor Naturalization (MEIN) in 12 Months

To acquire citizenship through this route, you must first establish residence in Malta for 12 months and contribute €750,000. Additionally, you need to either purchase real estate in Malta valued at a minimum of €700,000 or rent a property with an annual lease of at least €16,000. Due diligence fees are as follows:

  • €15,000 for the main applicant
  • €10,000 for the spouse
  • €10,000 for dependents aged 13 and above

Option 2: Malta Exceptional Investor Naturalization (MEIN) in 36 Months

This option requires establishing residence in Malta for 36 months and contributing €600,000. Similar to the first option, you must also purchase residential property worth at least €700,000 or rent property with a minimum annual rent of €16,000. Due diligence fees are as follows:

  • €15,000 for the main applicant
  • €10,000 for the spouse
  • €10,000 for dependents aged 13 and above

Additional Requirements and Benefits To participate in the Malta Citizenship by Investment Programme, you must:

  • Maintain ownership or lease of the property for at least five years
  • Make a direct investment contribution to Malta
  • Donate at least €10,000 to an approved charitable organization, which can be philanthropic, cultural, sporting, scientific, animal welfare, or artistic in nature
