Who Can Get Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship

Program Requirements

To apply for the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Programme, you must, above all, fulfil ONE of the following investment options in addition to meeting other requirements.

Option 1: National Development Fund Donation

Invest $100,000 in a one-time donation to the National Development Fund. A processing fee of $30,000 applies for a family of up to 4 members, with an additional $15,000 for each extra dependent. Due diligence fees are $7,500 for you and your spouse, $2,000 per dependent aged 12-17, and $4,000 per dependent aged 18 and older.

Option 2: Property Purchase

Purchase $200,000 worth of real estate or invest in approved development projects, with a minimum holding period of 5 years. The processing fee is $30,000 for a family of up to 4, plus $15,000 per additional dependent. Due diligence fees include $7,500 for you and your spouse, $2,000 per dependent aged 12-17, and $4,000 per dependent aged 18 and above.

Option 3: Business Investment

Make a direct investment of at least $1.5 million into an approved business, or jointly invest $5 million in a qualifying business. Processing fees are $30,000 for a family of up to 4 members, with an additional $15,000 per extra dependent. Due diligence fees are $7,500 for you and your spouse, $2,000 per dependent aged 12-17, and $4,000 per dependent aged 18 and over.

Option 4: University of the West Indies (UWI) Fund Contribution

Contribute $150,000 for a family of up to 6 members, with $15,000 processing fee for each additional dependent. This option also includes a 1-year tuition-only scholarship at the University of the West Indies for one family member. Due diligence fees are $7,500 for you and your spouse, $2,000 per dependent aged 12-17, and $4,000 per dependent aged 18 and over.

Additional Requirements

To maintain Antigua & Barbuda citizenship, you must be present in the country for at least 5 days within the first 5 years of obtaining citizenship.
